  5. Ted Talk Discussions

    Since June 2020, the Whitney Senior Center has registered to host TED Circles, an “open community of small groups that engage in conversations about big ideas.” TED Circles discussions are based on monthly themes provided by TED. Whitney’s TED Circles are hosted by RSVP Volunteer Lalita Subrahmanyan on Zoom every Monday, from 12:00-1:00 pm. So far, we have discussed TED Talks on themes such as the Environment, Designing with Humanity and Resilience. Participants, some of whom attend regularly, say that through TED Circles they have met interesting people from a variety of backgrounds in the St. Cloud area and learned new perspectives on issues they have never thought about before.   6. Wonders of Watercolors

    Mondays, May 23-June 6, 1:00pm-4:00pm * Must preregister for all sessions. This class is for beginners and intermediate artists. We will be covering all new techniques. I will have supplies available for purchase. A new painting will be done every week. Come and join in on the fun! The class needs at least 8 participants to run.
