Coffee Talks with Mandy, Certified Crime Prevention Specialist Join Mandy, Certified Crime Prevention Specialist on the last Wednesday of the month at 10 AM for a cup of coffee and build relationships, one cup at a time! Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members together, over coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about each other and we are excited to host this in our very own coffee corner here at the Whitney Senior Center. Free for members or bring a friend, neighbor, or join us for only $5.00.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Presentation Wednesday, October 26th at 10 AM In-Person and Zoom Learn about safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs while also discovering the potential for abuse of medications. CentraCare, Jason McDonald, Injury Prevention Specialist, will share stories from the field on narcotics and narcotic abuse. Global Coffee and Tea Conversations 4th Wednesday every month 12:30 to 1:30 PM This event is on Zoom only Tea (and coffee) plays an important role in our cultures. It is commonly consumed at social events to intricate formal ceremonies. Tea culture is defined as the way people interact with tea and by the aesthetics surrounding tea drinking. Whitney Senior Center is inviting you to be a part of our tea culture and join our neighbors over a hot beverage. Learn about different traditions and cultures.
