    In this Genealogy Course, you will learn where and how to start a family tree, what types of forms are available to aid you in your research, and where to find those forms online. Instructor will have a handout on genealogy tips for beginning your research and links to various websites, paid and free, to find information on your ancestors and/or records. There will be examples of records to look for in your research and places to find new and used publications from historical societies which may have information on your ancestors. After that, we will start our research. We will answer questions and help with problem-solving on hard-to-find names or ancestors. The goal is to help you on your way to filling out your family tree with a four-generation tree the goal in our six-week course. Free for members or $30.00 for the day pass for 6 sessions.

  2. Hand-making Greeting Cards

    Card making is the craft of hand-making greeting cards. Card making is a hugely rewarding past time and just seeing the smile on a recipient's face when you hand them a personalized handmade greeting card is more than worth the effort. Most supplies will be provided including card stock, stamps, and ink. If you have favorite colored pencils, markers, adhesive, paper snips, or embellishments, please bring them.
