    In Minnesota from 2012 to 2016, there have been 99 fire fatalities in adults over the age of 60 and nationally, older adults are twice as likely to be killed or injured by fires as compared to the rest of the population. Falling is also a major concern for older adults. In Stearns County, 433 people 50 and older have had a fall-related injury.
