What is my sewer responsibility?

The sewer and water service lines are the pipes that run from the internal plumbing of a residence or building to the connection point of the City of St. Cloud’s sewer or water main. The owner is responsible for repair, maintenance, and replacement of their service lines. Please view the Preventing Sewer Backups page to learn more about maintaining your service line.  Visit the Sanitary Sewer Related Information page or the Water Service Responsibility page to learn more.
