Primal Leadership: Creating Resonant Relationships
Thursday, March 18th
9:30 am - 11:30 am
This will be offered as a combination of In-person (limit 6) and Zoom
"What percentage of managers in organizations are effective leaders as well as managers? What is the most important leadership trait? What should you focus on to be an effective leader and manager in your own life as well as in any nonprofit, public, or private sector organization that you are a part of? What is a quick litmus test of whether you are an effective leader and manager or not
Join us for a lively discussion on the concept of Primal Leadership developed by Dr. Boyatzis, et. al. We will be exploring the twelve competencies of effective leaders and managers from an organizational behavior perspective. We will also be examining Resonant Relationships; what they are and how we create them. Let us learn together drawing on a diverse array of research from the fields of organization theory, organization behavior, organization development, positive psychology, social psychology, philosophy, medicine, and more!"
Presenter: Shawn Erik Schooley, Ph.D.
