Help keep our waterways clean!

The Adopt-a-Drain program allows residents in the St. Cloud area to adopt storm drains. It is a simple, quick way to get involved and help keep our storm drains and our waters clean!  In the first year of the program, 143 people adopted a total of 266 drains and reported an estimated 6,400 pounds of debris collected from local storm drains and disposed of properly.

Storm drains flow directly to local lakes, rivers, and wetlands, acting as a conduit for trash and organic pollutants. Adopt-a-Drain asks residents to adopt a storm drain in their neighborhood and keep it clear of leaves, trash, and other debris to reduce water pollution.

Volunteer fifteen minutes, twice a month, for cleaner waterways and healthier communities.
