Where Does the Rain Drain in St. Cloud?

How You Can Help Protect Our Water

When: March 24, 2021 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Platform: This class will be held via Zoom

Have you ever wondered what happens to the rain after it lands on the ground or where those big piles of snow go when they melt? Are you interested in helping keep our local lakes, rivers, and waterways clean? Join us for an interactive presentation about St. Cloud’s stormwater system and the many easy ways to help keep your favorite waterbodies clean. You’ll learn all about stormwater runoff – including how it is treated or not treated, where it goes and how you can get involved to help protect our waterways. We will explore several easy and fun volunteer programs that allow you to get involved in keeping our lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands clean. Learn how you and your family can participate with the new Adopt-a-Drain and Storm Drain Art programs, storm drain stenciling, and more. Come and learn about the fascinating world of stormwater and how your actions have a greater environmental impact than you have ever imagined!

The class will be offered online using the Zoom platform. Instructions and link will be sent via email after registration.
