May 5th: Living and Laughing as We Age will be presented by International speaker, author and comedian, Brenda Elsagher. A Minnesota native and senior herself, she is a Certified Humor Professional and promises to make us laugh and think about humor in a different way.

May 12th: Kick-off Older Americans Month. Our Mayor will proclaim May as Older Americans Month. All participants will receive a gift basket to celebrate this month. 

May 19th: Bounce Back Project: How promoting health through happiness and recognizing our unique needs can play a role in aging in place.  Simple reminders on how to increase resiliency, mental well-being, and connection.

May 26th: UniteCloud Coming to America 

Nearly 500,000 immigrants call Minnesota home! Immigration will continue to shape our communities for generations - today, 18% of children in Minnesota are the child of an immigrant or were born in a different country. Attend to learn the "Coming to America" story of one of your MN neighbors!
