How to Make a Complaint

Most foodborne bacterial infections take 12-72 hours for a person to develop symptoms, however staph infections or chemical intoxication may have a more rapid onset of symptoms. It is important that you call the Minnesota Foodborne Illness Hotline at 877-366-3455 or 877-FOOD-ILL to discuss any complaint. You can also email your information to report a foodborne illness at Health.foodill@state.mn.usTheir team of epidemiologists work with local staff to quickly address possible outbreaks.

It may not be the last place you ate that made you sick. If symptoms persist, be sure you contact your medical provider.
