2022 Election Filings 

  • Filings for all positions will open on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 and close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
  • All required forms (PDF) are available online. These forms must be received in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 1201 7th Street South during the filing window
  • Any candidate wishing to remove their name from the ballot must file an Affidavit of Withdrawal by 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022.
  • In the event that more than 2 people file for any council seat the candidates will appear on the primary ballot on August 9th, 2022.
