Mission Statement

Whitney Senior Center (WSC) strives to promote the holistic well-being of all people 55+ in the greater St. Cloud area by providing opportunities for social interaction, recreation, and education. We engage, enrich, and empower the diverse interests and needs of people with dignity, innovation, and joy.  

Activities

We have something for just about everyone. Our center provides social, recreational, and educational activities and services to enrich the lives of our participants. Orientation to WSC

The orientation is held every Monday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please check in at the WSC front desk. 

Our friendly and helpful staff and volunteers are available to help orient you to our center and get involved to whatever extent you choose. Whether you are new to our community or you've lived here all your life, we welcome you to a free guided tour of our facility. 

You will be provided with a brochure and a copy of the current edition of our quarterly Whitney Time course catalog. Visit WSC for your free orientation tour. 

You will visit the center's:

• Classrooms
• Clemens Main Hall, which used to be the St. Cloud Airport hanger
• Dining area
• Social and gathering spots
• In-house community services
• Whitney Fitness Center
• Whitney Recreation Department with an indoor walking track
• Whitney Woodshop
• Art galleries

Questions are always encouraged throughout the tour.
