Food Safety Online Training

Each year foodborne illness affects about 48 million Americans. This is a staggering number considering most foodborne illness is considered preventable.  These illnesses not only cause a burden on public health, but contribute significantly to the cost of health care. If your establishment does not prioritize food safety, you could potentially have a foodborne illness outbreak, endanger your customers, and harm your business.  Safer food can promote healthier and longer lives, less costly health care, and a much more resilient food industry.

Training staff on the importance of food safety can often be time and resource intensive.  The City of St. Cloud would like to help by providing free online training for all licensed establishments. Click the link provided, and create an account to gain access to multiple interactive trainings that focus on different areas of food safety. New trainings will be provided throughout the year to help highlight the ever-changing field of food safety.
