Winters in Minnesota result in a lot of snow and the need for snow removal. To facilitate snow removal, St. Cloud has three different winter parking regulations. Be sure to understand these regulations to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
What does a Snow Emergency mean? Click here for more information. During a Snow Emergency, any vehicle in violation of any parking restriction will be ticketed and immediately towed at the owner’s expense.
This restriction is often referred to as Odd/Even Parking and is in effect from November 1st - April 1st. The violations take place between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. regardless of snowfall.
How it works:
Between 1:00 a.m. -7:00 a.m. on odd numbered days (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.) you should park on the even side of the street
Between 1:00 a.m. -7:00 a.m. on even numbered days (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) you should park on the odd side of the street
Even side of the street = house number is even (ie. 102 Washington Memorial Dr)
Odd side of the street = house number is odd (ie. 103 Washington Memorial Dr)
