Reserve a Park Shelter
Planning a company party or family reunion? What about a graduation party or wedding reception? The City of St. Cloud Recreation Department operates four City shelters for the purpose of renting to the general public for special occasions. These sites are Riverside, Wilson, Lions and Knights of Columbus Parks. Riverside and Wilson are designed to handle large picnics ranging from under 75 participants to over 1000. Knights of Columbus and Lions Parks are restricted to parties of 50 or less. Wilson, Riverside and Lions Parks have an enclosed shelter; Knights of Columbus Park is an open sided roofed facility. Please click on the links above for more information about the park facilities and the location. The general public is encouraged to look at these sites as possibilities for their functions as it does make life easier. The convenience of hosting a party elsewhere than your home is very enticing to many. Over 75,000 patrons partake in an annual gathering of some sort throughout the year at these four sites. The process to obtain a shelter for your activity is quite easy. Reservations for these facilities may be accomplished by calling the Recreation Department 257-5959. We are currently accepting shelter reservation for 2009 and 2010. Large companies and organizations planning an activity for over 1000 people are asked to contact the Recreation Supervisor, to arrange a date and site for their activity. We ask that this be accomplished prior to the year end and be scheduled prior to the opening of registration in January.
