St. Cloud City Wide Garbage Sweep!!

Recent City Council action has approved enforcement of property nuisances through the use of administrative citations. Nuisances include excessive accumulations of trash, abandoned appliances, unlicensed vehicles, vehicles not parked on approved surfaces, cars in a state of repair while not in a garage, and other city violations. To avoid an administrative citation, city residents need to keep their properties free of nuisances. Residents should eliminate blighted conditions and piles of accumulated items that constitute nuisances. All buildings should be kept in good repair. If a violation is noted, the property owner will be given an order to correct the violation. If the violation persists, an administrative citation will be issued. If you feel you need additional time to properly respond to a noted condition on your property, you must contact the Health and Inspections department at 255-7214 and reach an agreement as to how and when the condition on your property will be addressed.
Neighborhoods will be inspected by City staff to note violations. Inspectors will document &/or photograph the violations and give written notice to correct. If you fail to correct the violation, an administrative citation will be issued which carries a fine of $50-$500. Our goal is to obtain voluntary compliance and upkeep. Thank you for your continued cooperation in keeping St. Cloud a Minnesota gem!
